We are constantly coming out of our comfort zones, things we thought were too confronting are now the norm. Do you find yourself just doing it because you need to get to the other side? I do. Infact if someone had told me I would be in this position 2 years ago, doing the activities I didn't enjoy infact dreaded, I would have laughed it off.
Not today, I get it now that through doing these things I get closer to my goals. I need to confront my fears each day and know these are just small bumps on the road. I see the bigger picture and know that each step is just part of the overall journey. I am at peace with that, and therefore just get to it. No added drama, denial or running away.
I am marketing myself at every opportunity, I have a valid opinion and want to connect with those also looking for more, these people are out there too, just need to keep positive, persistent and have patience. Yes patience not my strongest assest, I recognise it and work on it too!
Marketing yourself shows you are confident, eager to express your opinion and intelligent to have on board. So if you are looking for work, believe this position is made for you. If you are presenting to the Executives, believe your opinions matter and speak with passion. If you are self employed, revisit your goals and your values why you got out of the mainstream workforce, and know you are the creator of your day!
