Most big cities have them; they can frustrate you, make you angry and rushed and above all make you late. Traffic jams or bottlenecks, in French they say “bouchon” which translates to: cork in bottle. Imagine that is exactly how it feels being in one waiting for it to die down, to dissipate, after the tension has been building. So you can move again.
