One client mentioned to me a few weeks back that she lives by: No ifs, maybes or buts. I just love it.
This means she is action orientated and keeps going no matter what. So why does she need me? Well as a friendly outsider, her coach, I am her cheering squad and she feels accountable for her actions and having me there, this is pivotal to her development and self awareness.
If you watch your language how often do you say: ifs, maybes or buts? This gives you a feeling of uncertainty and basically you are 'sitting on the fence' Waiting for an external force to decide for you. It may happen, yet it is not very empowering is it?
Something to think about. When you take out these words from your vocabulary you are the driver of you own bus, you create your day and you decide when to jump in. You initiate and you are in constant motion towards what you want.
So if those close to you say: ifs, maybes or buts, raise their awareness of what that truly means, and just perhaps you will get a definite answer instead!
