De-Clutter Time


Well we are all guilty, keeping too much stuff in our homes and offices. Some paperwork we need to keep, like the taxation and personal documentation. However keeping excess papers/brochures just accumulates space and energy. Same goes for clothes we never wear, furniture we keep for sentimental reasons and books that we shall never read.


Today was my day to get rid of my excess paperwork and it was a great feeling. I sorted out the important paperwork and still need to archive it. Most of it ended up in the recycling bin.


This has now recreated space in the office and feeling lighter by shedding this paper mess.


I am sure most of you are in the similar situation, you just haven't gotten around to it. Just imagine how good you will feel to have this sorted and gone! Or stored away somewhere so you can enjoy the space with something more useful or practical.


De-cluttering clears the mind too as we know where to find things. If our desks are covered in a paper pile that has no order, what is really going for us in our minds?


Chaos, disorganisation? or even confusion. Or perhaps you just forget things because you are somewhere else.


I have a sense of completion today and now I need to tackle the excess clothing....


My wardrobe will feel so much tidier, I can just see it now!
