I know I keep raving about the seminar we attended, so many learnings I want to share. This particular one is what I call my internal compass. I just go through these 5 simple steps and I know I am hitting the mark and am on purpose and flow. So take a look and see how this applies in your own life. As a good example you can start applying these 5 steps when a new opportunity is presented to you.
- Follow My Flow: Know your values and you personal purpose. Then look at the opportunity and see if it is in alignment with you. It needs to be in your flow and keep you on your path. Like an athlete you need to have laser beam focus on your goal/objectives.
- Can I add Value: What can you do to keep adding value? This means you are giving and serving and as the law of reciprocity states: this energy comes back to you!
- Can I leverage (help all of us): We are always looking at win/win scenarios how to gain and give as a mutual exchange.
The following two are interesting as they are about motivation and inspiration
- If it fails (not that we go into something with this mindset, however if it fails) = Will it motivate me? I like this one, as most of the time, we are positive thinkers yet sometimes things do not go our way. Will this this keep you on your journey and give your perseverance and drive? Or will you just give up? Always make sure that even in case of failure (which is really feedback) , you can get motivation and learnings out of it.
- If I succeed= Will I be inspired? Knowing that success is yours will this too keep your fire burning and keep you going powerfully forward? Sometimes people just halt at success as there are consequences, and some become shrinking violets. What type of person are you? One that lets the world shine and you shine along side it, or one that looks at the flaws at success and decides not to trust others for fear of losing it?
Well this is good mind food, I have been thinking about this and how I can leverage my role and benefit others.
Do you have any feedback on this, I am curious to know how you assess your opportunities?

This is a good method of figuring out which direction to go in. I think it makes it a lot more clear when each of the steps are assessed rather than taking chances. Thanks for sharing these steps.
I agree with Alex, I truly believe your 5 steps are amazing ways to figure out which direction to begin in, great Points. Keep up the great work!
